Our community cultivates
great humanity
towards those friends
who are living a period of vulnerability,
be it physical, psychological or spiritual,
or who are suffering from illness,
living their old age,
or are weaken by the service they did for others.
No-one should be abandoned to themselves
or removed from our community.
We should always keep our hearts
and our minds open
to find the right ways to welcome each other.
Our fraternal love and friendship
cannot vanish
in times of trouble.
And when death takes
a member of our community,
this brother or sister
who reaches the House of the Lord
keeps being present,
as if they just moved to another Arsenal of ours, in heaven.
Together, we keep
fighting so that there is more love from God
and more justice among men.
We keep wishing for
new heavens and a new earth.
«Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”» (Revelation 21, 1-4)
