Where we stand,
in Italy or abroad,
we stand in the presence of God.
No-one leaves,
no-one arrives
because everyone is always in His presence.
We are inhabitants
of a house
that keeps being built,
that keeps growing.
At each floor, a community lives,
ready to move
from one floor to another
for love.
One floor is our Arsenal in Brazil,
another one that in Jordan,
another one that in Italy,
but also the editorial of our magazine,
the kitchen, the secretaryship, our guest houses,
our football team,
the activities we organise,
our offices and any other service we provide.
They all are floors of our house.
And each floor is a sacred space
because, even just in a room,
we are in the presence of God.
Each floor represents a home
because our Brotherhood lives there.
The presence of God and the bond between us
make us consider
diversity a treasure and a resource,
make us live in harmony and honesty,
without rivalry.
They make us «just one heart
and one soul», wherever we are.
«Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
