Providence operates against imbalance

The Lord shows His power

when He finds

openness and honesty in our hearts.

Then, He is able not to worry about our weakness

and our frailty.

He reassures us: «Have no fear, I am with you».

He acts against imbalance.

It is within it that His Providence fully operates.

Every day, we witness

Providence

answering our call for help:

for the material means we do not have,

for supporting the poor who come to us,

for the contribution of helpful friends.

All of this happens naturally,

in silence and in secret,

as the result of any prayer

said with faith.

We would not almost notice it,

if we did not take note,

discreetly but precisely,

of each thing donated to us:

money, hours of work, materials,

brought to us one pound at a time.

We do it with great care,

for the love of honesty,

so that no-one who knows us,

seeing all the we do,

can say: «I wonder what lies behind it»,

but everyone praises the Lord

Who donates all of this to us

through the hands of thousands of friends.

Let’s watch ourselves

not to get too used to receiving

and not to turn into power

what comes as a gift from God.

Providence has never forget to conclude

what it started. It works like this.

When you completely trust in God,

you never end up disappointed. This is the way in which God acts.

«“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendour was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.» (Matthew 6, 25-32).
