Sermig Rule

"Who do people say I am?" Jesus asked his followers this question.

And people, what do they say Sermig is? We have asked ourselves this many times. While we wondered, we wiped away a few tears, we frequented those on the margins: terrorists, prostitutes, criminals, homeless foreigners. Especially the young. With them many certainties have fallen. With them, but with the child and adult faith we had, we found ourselves perhaps to be like Someone had imagined us.

"Christians are not born, they become", wrote a Christian author of the third century. Nothing more true. Whatever path awaits us, we want to be and continue to be simply Christians. Becoming a Christian is a journey and a struggle. For us the only path that is worth taking, the only fight that must be fought.
