Everyone of us,
inherently,
breathes, eats, drinks,
rests, sees and reads
while living, growing,
suffering and discovering.
We should learn to know what improves us
and be thankful for all of it.
We should be thankful to be loved
and to love,
to be forgiven many times
and be able to restart,
to be called to follow Him
and be useful to His will,
to have received many gifts
and be able to share them.
I wished that thanks were part
of our lives as eating is,
as resting is, as breathing is.
I wished that gratitude
to those who helped us,
to those who supported us
and to those who believe in us
would never leave us.
«My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour, for He has been mindful of the humble state of His servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me - holy is His name.» (Luke 1, 46-49)
