RANDY NEWMAN – IT'S LONELY THE TOP

Great great artist, soundtracks galore (17 Oscar nominations, 2 wins), a dozen records, dozens of artists who have remade his songs. Here he rearranges only with piano and voice (30 years later) one of his most famous pieces and, I must say, he impresses me. JEFF HEALEY BAND – WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS

Tightrope guitarist, who passed away about fifteen years ago at the age of 41 due to cancer, here gives us a cover of George Harrison, giving it a new face, thanks to the inventiveness and imaginative sound of his guitar.

Superfine touch, overwhelming musicality, intelligent musical idea for a cover of great impact like this: he didn't overturn it, but he didn't make it the same. Rep

STING – COME DOWN IN TIME

How beautiful is this cover of Elton John, Sting here reaches a peak as regards the arrangement, truly amazing precisely because it is sparse compared to the original, but very intense and musical. In fact, the real arranger uses the eraser more than the pencil. The song is already wonderful by him, but I think that this song is an example of a more beautiful cover than the original.
