BOT

In this period there is a lot of talk about artificial intelligence (AI), even if perhaps not everyone knows exactly what they are talking about. According to the EU website, AI is the ability of a machine to display human capabilities such as reasoning, learning, planning and creativity.

But I prefer the definition of IBM, a historic brand that has made the history of computers: AI exploits computers and machines to imitate the decision-making and problem-solving abilities of the human mind. The verb "imitate" sums up the concept that, at least for now, artificial intelligence is not so intelligent but an ape of real intelligence, the human one. I believe that a normal evolution of technology is getting bigger and bigger mainly due to marketing issues. However, not everything is to be thrown away, for example Heineken has created the BOT (Beer Outdoor Transporter). It is a self-driving refrigerated compartment intended for the transport of cans.
