Godfrey and the others

In this period we would go to the award ceremony of the writing contest for which Glory's story was selected, we would do the play, we would go out around the city and we would learn new things like when we went to Museum A for Environment. Godfrey got on a scale and in a vase was added as much water as there is in his body. That's a lot! Godfrey does not believe it, he laughs as if it were a joke, everyone wants to get on the magic scale like children with a toy, but we are adults, the water rises for everyone; we find that in a newborn the amount of water present in the body can reach 90%. Sandrine still doesn't speak well but when asked "What did you like most?" he simply replies: «water», with a smile from here to there that expresses all the amazement, so no words are needed.

Yes, in this period we would have done many beautiful things, there may be the temptation to think that we have lost a piece of our life, yet perhaps when you live the present moment you discover that nothing can steal the possibility of loving life.
We have done beautiful things, so much so that some girls who have remained closed in the Arsenale with us have written us what they have learned and they are very beautiful things.

For Sofia it was a difficult time, "the biggest challenge of my life, but here I have become a better person". Precious has truly learned patience "because I never thought I could be locked in here for four good months", but at Sermig she discovered that she can eat the foods of her country and also Italian ones and above all she has learned how to love herself, without to argue, to be good. Some say: "I learned to say no to street work, I was able to learn Italian a little bit and clean the house very well every day, I was able to learn to be grateful. I promise to be good and to make you proud of me ».
