The course aims to provide the student with the basics of the history of ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary art, in order to be able to grant him the tools necessary to contextualize an art object in a specific place and historical period. To this end, he also delves into the history of iconography, the style of furniture, the frame and ecclesiastical furnishings, with particular reference to ancient decoration techniques, in order to find an objective comparison with the reference laboratories.
