Brown

Brown is interesting, one of the least pure colors there is. Red and green, red yellow and blue, orange and black ... always a nice mix where each ingredient must not stand out too much, or everything but a brown comes out. More than a color, it is the name of a very special fruit whose geographical origin, history and etymology are very uncertain, as well as double. Brown and chestnut, from the same plant we call chestnut, are different fruits and have formed the basis of economies and cultures not so far from our twenty-first century. Cultivation with rational criteria has been advocated several times, as was the case for the “sixth of Matildic planting”, conceived a thousand years ago to maximize the harvest and exploit every square meter of the land with complementary uses.

Brown is a word so widespread and so indeterminate that it can be compared to the word tree: inside, there are almost opposites, from the lightest to the darkest. Few shades actually correspond to that of edible brown, but the beauty is that when you open your eyes to a piece of reality, as art or nature lovers do, you begin to see that the world is much more colorful, multifaceted and surprising than I could have even imagined before, before having started to delve into the path of love and knowledge undertaken.
We have so many other words to say what we call brown, it's worth noting!
