Connect the skills of migrants with the needs of companies and create new job opportunities. This is the goal of Mygrants, an application that measures the professional skills of those arriving in our country through a series of quizzes. In short: each participant demonstrates her skills - for example linguistic or IT skills - and obtains an identikit that is sent to the companies that register on the same platform. "Migrants have valuable skills, they are persevering and motivated," explains Chris Richmond N'zi, the co-founder of the initiative. Today he is 36 years old, he comes from the Ivory Coast, he has a degree in International Relations behind him. Mygrants was born in 2017 and it works: in four years, it has already led to 3,000 job placements.

An example: Sarah comes from Nigeria, she is in her early twenties and is attending an application presentation meeting. The speaker has not finished speaking yet and she has already registered. In a short time she shows significant skills and is hired in a large start-up in Emilia Romagna. «It recently happened to us to place a Tunisian boy in a large company. He spoke three languages, including Arabic, and had demonstrated a high level of knowledge in computer science and statistics, ”says Chris. "After an internship, the company hired him: the employer had been looking for his skills for two years, he hadn't found them yet." The spread of the application is mainly through word of mouth.

Today there are 220,000 active users on the platform, of which 23,000 are highly qualified. In the story of Mygrants there is a confirmation: "Diversity is a great opportunity" specifies Chris, who founded the application with a clear motivation: "Each of us in life receives talents, can decide whether to continue complaining or get involved. game".
