Our house

The common good also and above all passes through our choices, because each of us has a responsibility - small or large - towards the community.

Despite many calls to vote, many Italians have given up voting: many certainly out of despair, others out of indifference.

We live in a time in which, in addition to the energy and political crises, we are witnessing a more general crisis that risks deeply touching people's hearts: it concerns the feeling of belonging, of being part of the same community. Too much selfishness, too much greedy economy, too much politics linked to special interests have led us astray. How can we be well together if each seeks his own good against the good of others?

I remain convinced that power is good only when it is capable of serving and doing everything to build the common good and not the interests of a few.

One of the important goals continues to be that of young people. I have repeatedly said that young people are the poorest of the poor because of the difficulties they face, such as the terrible effects of the pandemic.

For this dream of institutions capable of enhancing them and adults ready to become credible references. Because young people are willing to commit themselves if they find true witnesses. I want politics, the economy and society to implement actions that are able to bring out their potential and talents. But it is necessary to listen to them, involve them, share responsibilities and projects with them to create new bridges between different generations.
