The Tuesday lady

Giuliana De Sio and Alessandro Haber are the protagonists of The Lady of Tuesday by Massimo Carlotto. Taken from the novel of the same name, the text is imbued with sensuality, but also with sweetness and grace and enriched by an elegant and sharp irony. At the center of the show directed by Pierpaolo Sepe there are characters that life has mistreated: a woman, Nanà, goes to buy herself an hour of love every Tuesday afternoon. The lady arrives, says hello, puts the money on the bedside table, undresses, and gets into bed. He, Fanzago Bonamente is a fading adult film actor and as a former gigolo he remained with this one client: the Tuesday lady... Too bad he fell in love with her. The two meet in a small hotel where the owner lives his condition as a transvestite, hiding from a hypocritical and respectable environment. An unexpected event will start a whirlwind of side effects and for the three it will become a matter of life or death to dig inside themselves and their past to get out of trouble. The show is on tour in Italy and will be staged at the Teatro Elfo in Milan from 7 February and immediately afterwards at the Carignano in Turin.
