The rush of the virus does not stop fashion. Thanks to live streaming and a complex organization, Milan Fashion Week has just ended. From 23 February to 1 March, the kermesse dedicated to the proposals for next autumn-winter 2021-2022 set up 61 fashion shows and 57 presentations, all in compliance with anti Covid regulations. Few of the catwalks created live, one above all that of the designer Valentino who chose to parade at the Piccolo Teatro, a place elected symbol of the wounded culture of the Lombard capital and of the whole of Italy. Great prominence for the digital event Black Lives Matter in Italian Fashion, a project developed by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion to celebrate the values of inclusion and multiculturalism.

Style, creativity, suggestions, leaps into the past in search of eternal aesthetic codes and impulses towards an increasingly green future, we have seen a bit of everything in the seven days dedicated to fashion for the next cold season. Between great absences, returns and debuts, with Urban Vision, the format chosen to transmit multimedia and editorial content, this edition proved to be more democratic and inclusive, thanks to the projection of the fashion shows on maxi screens located in various parts of the city and on the website milanofashionweek.cameramoda.it. In addition to fashion shows and virtual showrooms, the site also hosted some thematic rooms dedicated to sustainability and Made in Italy artisan excellence. A widespread metropolitan show, in search of a new normal.
