Masks and identities

We often talk about the difference between our identity and the masks we wear, those that risk being misunderstood by the people around us. Our identity is not always made up of only positive aspects, on the contrary: we all have characters rich in edges that can also hurt. Above all, the longer the time we live side by side, the greater the effect of these tips. In a family, where everything is shared 24 hours a day, the effects multiply.
At the Arsenale we learn that we can work on these edges, that our character is not immutable. But the path can be long. If we are walking to smooth out all the roughness, we also try to mask them from time to time to guard others. The family can be a great daily training ground where we present ourselves for what we are: we experience knowing and recognizing faces, we understand the masks they keep, we learn to forgive and love.
In the ancient Greek theater the mask hid the real expression of the actor's face, to highlight the dominant character of the character, on the contrary we can dominate the character without erasing our identity, change our face and learn to breathe peace, transforming and converting the tips of our personality.
