We declare our human brotherhood

The Vatican Foundation Fratelli Tutti, desired by Pope Francis, presided over by Card. Mauro Gambetti, with Father Francesco Occhetta as general secretary, offers each of us a great opportunity: that of sharing and signing the Declaration on human fraternity. It was written and signed by Nobel Prize winners and representatives of international organizations awarded the Nobel Peace Prize during the first World Meeting of Human Fraternity which was held on 10 June 2023 in Rome in St. Peter's Square in the Vatican City. For the Holy See, the declaration was signed by card. Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State.

It is a possibility to join the voice of Pope Francis who invites us to choose brotherhood to remain human and share the same destiny: «We are different, we are different, we have different cultures and religions, but we are brothers and we want to live in peace."

You can sign the document and invite others to do so too: members of the family, neighborhood, parish, schools, work and universities to do the same. The following Nobel Prize winners and Nobel Peace Organizations have already signed and supported the document: Juan Manuel Santos, Oscar Arias Sánchez, Jody Williams, Shirin Ebadi, Muhammad Yunus, Leymah Gbowee, Tawakkol Karman, Denis Mukwege, Nadia Murad, Giorgio Parisi, Maria Ressa, Mairead Corrigan Maguire, Bureau International de la Paix (IPB), American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW), Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs, International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL), International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), Center for Civil Liberties.

It is an opportunity to be able to declare in complete freedom that we want brotherhood and we want to build it together in unity.
