Two generations

By documenting the life of a clan of nomadic shepherds of whom I was a guest for a few days, I was able to observe the interactions of two generations compared.

One day a non-profit association gave a man's children some useful things for moving around the steppe. Among these was a modern mountain bike.

The shepherd doesn't seem to trust that strange and "futuristic" form of technology that has made the kids in his group so euphoric and enthusiastic.

The photograph, unequivocal, documents the elderly and displeased patriarch while his amused children observe him going to saddle his dear and beloved horse.
