Tracy Letts and Pascal Rambert

August arrives on the Italian stages in Osage County by the multifaceted and award-winning American actor and playwright Tracy Letts. The comedy, awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 2008 and brought to the fore on the big screen by the famous film Osage County Secrets, is now staged by Filippo Dini, who will be on stage together with a cast of great actors including Giuliana De Sio, Manuela Mandracchia and Fabrizio Contri. Considered today one of the most sarcastic and merciless stories about the dysfunctionality of the family, the text is a sentimental journey between affections, spite, secrets, cynicism and black humour. The show will be at the Teatro Carignano in Turin from 16 May to 14 June and will go on tour next season.

Pascal Rambert, French writer and director, inaugurates with Prima the theatrical triptych that he will stage at the Piccolo in Milan. The trilogy tells what happens, on stage and in life, Before, During, After the preparation of a show. At the centre, the vicissitudes of a theater company engaged in the staging of a text inspired by a cycle of three paintings by Paolo Uccello: the pictorial triptych is actually a pretext to talk about feelings and human relationships. On stage, until May 28, sees among the protagonists Anna Bonaiuto and Sandro Lombardi.
