The value of Antigone

Antigone and her brothers is the new show by Gabriele Vacis who, starting from the text of Sophocles and the story that is told in it, stages a dense network of references to the story of this character who assumes its depth precisely in the relationship with the brothers.
Antigone is, among the figures of classical tragedy, the one who perhaps more than others still manages to speak strongly to our contemporaneity, and has always been the emblem of a conscious, assertive youth capable of opposing the pre-established power and compromises.

Antigone and his brothers will be a show for young people whose protagonists will be the young people who graduated from the School for Actors of the Teatro Stabile in Turin, now forming a company called Potenziali Evocati Multimediali. > The show will have its national premiere at the Fonderie Limone in Moncalieri from 10 to 22 January; during the programming period there will be a series of accessible reruns in which, with the support of surtitles in Italian and simplified Italian with description of the sounds, through the use of smartglasses or smartphones, the show will be made accessible to all spectators.
