Alessandro Serra, author of a materic and ancestral theater which, with his Macbettu has been successful in Italy and abroad, returns to Shakespeare with the staging of La storm. The Shakespearean text, declares the director, "is a hymn to theater made with the theater, whose magical power lies precisely in this unique and unrepeatable possibility of accessing metaphysical dimensions through the cialtroneria of a company of comedians . Here lies its ancestral charm, that is, in the fact that everything happens in front of our eyes [...], but above all that that superhuman strength manifests itself only on condition that there is an audience willing to listen and see, to imagine, to share the silence to create the rite ". The show will debut at the Limone Foundries in Moncalieri, from March 15 to April 3, and then will be on tour in Reggio Emilia and Rome.

Gabriele Lavia, one of the most passionate and effective voices of Pirandello's theater, brings to the stage The bells cap, bitter, comic and cruel text, mirror of a "sick" society of lies ". Lavia plays the humble scribe Ciampa who resorts to madness to maintain the respectability facade of his unhappy marriage. The show will be staged at the Piccolo in Milan until March 13 and then at the Carignano in Turin from March 22 to April 3.
