It was inevitable that, after a hiatus of over 18 months, many film titles would be collected ready now to be released in theaters. In November we have so much to choose from, starting with two award-winning titles at the Venice Film Festival and one released at the last Cannes Film Festival.
It was the hand of God by Paolo Sorrentino with Toni Servillo, Teresa Saponangelo, Renato Carpentieri and Luisa Ranieri.
The private tale of the director's Neapolitan youth stained by an almost unspeakable drama. A very personal film and a transitional stage in Sorrentino's career that moves from the call of his typical technical virtuosity to a more contained vision at the service of his story and ghosts. Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival. The choice of Anna by Audrey Diwan with AnnaMaria Vartolomei.

France 1963. Anne loves literature and has decided to make it a profession by fleeing from a proletarian destiny. Adaptation of Annie Ernaux's novel of the same name, a raw story (shot with a documentary style) of a girl making her life debut for whom it is unimaginable to have a baby and give up on her dreams. Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival.
The French Dispatch by Wes Anderson with Timothee Chalamet, Bill Murray, Lea Seydoux. The story of the daily work of the editorial staff of a US newspaper (inspired by the legendary New Yorker) which, however, has settled in France. The accurate and seductive images of Wes Anderson tell 1,000 characters (played by the best American actors) of journalists struggling with crazy and curious stories for the various columns of the newspaper (crime news, cuisine, culture, society).

The Beatles: Get Back by Peter Jackson with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Not in the cinema but on the Disney streaming channel. A three-part documentary by Peter Jackson (that of The Lord of the Rings) that recovered and reassembled over 50 hours of footage to follow the artistic creation of the latest album of the fabulous 4 Let it be and the planning of their first live performance after so many years, the famous live from the roof of their record company.
Not suitable for everyone but only for true fans. And don't tell me you're not ...
