Rome, Turin and Milan will offer, starting from September, the best of national and international dance. It starts on September 6th with the Romaeuropa Festival which will open with Ukiyo-e, the first choreography signed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui for the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève, a show which will then be in Turin on the 29th and 30th September. The event, now in its thirty-eighth edition, will bring the sounds and artistic expressions of five continents to the capital, in a program made up of dance, theatre, music, cinema, meetings with artists, visual arts and technological challenges. From 14 September to 25 October 2023 Torinodanza will present the major contemporary choreographers and the most interesting Italian and foreign innovations in Turin: 33 performances by 15 companies with artists from 8 different countries. The festival will be opened by Rafael Bonachela with the Sydney Dance Company who will be joined by Ohad Naharin and the Batsheva Dance Company, Akram Khan, Peeping Tom, Oona Doherty and many Italian artists. From 28 September to 15 October the MILANoLTRE Festival will stimulate the public's curiosity with its original proposals and its attention to the new generations: the event hosts for the first time the Dutch company ICK Dans Amsterdam from duo Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten and these two choreographers will kick off the Milanese festival.
