Every life is

If the world we live in is obviously not the best it can be, every life is the best, as is our world: because it is. And every life has its riches, its meter, its norm, its internal meaning which is much greater than what it can appear. The differences between one and the other are essentially only external, of very little relevance, if we accept that the story of any man is worth the story of any other man.

It is not a question of a negative or consoling thought, of an attempt to ignore social problems and love of neighbor. The dull gaze of an old man, then, or the intellectual uncertainty of a weak-minded, recall another dimension that perhaps escapes us, not a lack of dimension.

Love for one's neighbor is stripped of emotion, of pure emotionality, of the benefited donor relationship, to become, even if only humanly, a relationship of equality, between equal dignities, between mutual riches.

Because beauty, strength, intelligence are great riches, which one must try to share with others: but also weakness, the slow and tiring commitment to live, the ability to give something even in difficult situations are riches to be shared. , to share with others who do not have them.

Why, then, fight for development, against disease, against marginalization? Because these are the riches that some have, to share but to be placed in a broader framework that does not forget the value of the others.

And thus admire the variety of men as one admires the variety of flowers; even if it is right to look for new grafts to admire new roses or to have new cereals available, even if it is right to work for the development in favor of the weakest everywhere.

It is entrusting everything to the mystery of creation and the great and marvelous work of God the creator and the provident God.
