The Carignano Theater in Turin will host one of William Shakespeare's most famous comedies: A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by Valerio Binasco who returns to an author to whom he is deeply attached, both as an interpreter and as a director. A delicate and subtle comedy, which tackles love with skill, with its dark areas and its hard-won harmonies. A theme treated with an originality and intensity appreciated by critics and the public. The show, produced by the Teatro Stabile di Torino, will be staged from 14 December to 16 January.
At the San Ferdinando Theater in Naples, from 26 December to 6 January, A che serve these money by Armando Curcio, directed by Andrea Renzi. First staged in 1940, the comedy made the De Filippo brothers famous. The story revolves around the Marquis Parascandolo, known as the Professor, who, in order to demonstrate his bizarre and counter-current Socratic theories, hatches a paradoxical plan that reveals the uselessness of possessing money.
