In October we return to the audience with the first shows of the 2022/2023 Season, among great classics, contemporary dramaturgy and reinterpretations of timeless themes. The Stabile di Torino inaugurates its program with Il crucible by Arthur Miller directed and interpreted by Filippo Dini who brings to the stage one of the most ferocious and critical texts against a society, the American one, but by extension the human one, in which informing and slander trigger an uncontrollable mechanism of intolerance and violence. The show will make its national premiere from 3 to 23 October at the Teatro Carignano in Turin.
On 11 October the curtain of the Gobetti Theater will rise with the debut of Dulan the bride by Melania Mazzucco, directed by Valerio Binasco. Written for the radio in 2001, this text with strong noir hues tells the story of a married couple, haunted by the ghost of a girl who drowned in the swimming pool of their apartment building. Replicas until October 30th.
From 11 October to 6 November, the 27th edition of the Festival delle Colline Torinesi will kick off, offering a wide-ranging program with 7 premieres, 8 productions, 20 shows and continuing its new path as a festival of autumn reaffirming the relationship with contemporary creation.
