Christian Bracich is an entrepreneur from Trieste, recently appointed Knight of the Order of Merit by President Sergio Mattarella "for his exemplary contribution in promoting corporate policies based on reconciliation between professional and family life and on protecting the value of the person also in the world of work ".

The company of which Bracich is director is Cpi-Eng, refounded in 2005 as Cpi-Eng Srl with the aim of growing by innovating and investing in new ideas and new services; it has dozens of employees, but - as he likes to point out - "the company is made up of people and not numbers".

The value of these words is demonstrated by concrete facts: it guarantees its employees flexible working hours, giving importance to the goal rather than the number of hours, and collaborates with a co-working space, in which there are also educators for children.
In addition, he is known to have turned the fixed-term contract of an employee expecting a child into a permanent contract, offering her a raise.

He himself explains the reasons for his choices: «In my company I have decided to help people, giving full flexibility; I think serenity in work gives the person a family serenity and leads to giving the best of oneself ».

The testimony of a transparent entrepreneur who is attentive to the needs of people as such and not as the gears of a machine. A seemingly counter-current story, but that's the right way.
