CHRIS BOTTI – MY FUNNY VALENTINE

Chris is a trumpeter unlike any other. His diversity lies in the timbre of his trumpet, so nocturnal, melodic, romantic and in the ability to play silences, pauses, qualities that few musicians possess. Very professional, certainly, but he remembers - and he does everything to point him out - Chet Baker and I must say that he does it quite well. This song, a Chet classic, underlines it even more and makes us live. 3 minutes and 10 of poetry

STING & CLAPTON – IT’S PROBABLY ME

See what talent does. Sting writes and sings, Clapton plays. Here it's not the tumtum tum-tum of the bass that makes the piece. Also. Above all, the melody does it, splendid, which insinuates itself between the rhythmic pulsations that are always the same. And then the guitar. You see what it means to play. Clapton doesn't exercise, he doesn't start with hallucinatory stairs at an impossible speed to show that he's good. He doesn't need to prove it, he is. And then just two plucked notes and poetry appears on the horizon. Truly an evergreen

PINO DANIELE – KEEP ON MOVIN’

Pine, yeah. Funky and bubbly, ours offers us a song from one of his records from the less considered early days and which instead has some gems. Like this: relentless groove, his voice explaining how to live, fusion style solo, choirs, great musicians around… In short, his entire repertoire that we tirelessly retrace once again. I love you Pino
