The sky moves

We give the keys to the van to Silvio to take the families we host to do the shopping; the time for them to gather, the time for a thank you flew by and he confides in us: «It is I who thank you. When I come here, life moves, the sky moves ».
What a responsibility! Many volunteers breathe right with us, with the same lungs, the joy of feeling part of a house that has many facets and many commitments. We are happy to make others happy, each with what he can and how he can, but it is nice to be inside this circle of love given and returned. Some young people choose to spend part of their vacation coming to help us out. Enrico comes straight from work without even going home, but his first days of vacation come to the hermitage to work.
Some might think he's crazy, but who makes you do it? He doesn't really know what to expect, but after all the arsenal is his home, after years of service, the hermitage also knows him well and they are the same thing, different floors of the same identical condominium. Thus he finds himself kneading himself in the house, not simply by providing a service but by being at the service of everything that is needed. There is the orchard that is giving us hundreds of big, good and beautiful peaches, but there is always a few boxes of the more mature ones and then cut kilos of fruit to make ice cream. We have to rake the lawn and a budding management engineer helps us find the most effective way to do it first. While we wash the dishes after dinner, the doorbell rings: it is Anna who comes to puncture a girl. When we need a nurse, we know who to count on.
Everyone can make his talents available. The Laboratorio del Suono loaned us a harp which, thanks to Arianna, becomes a magnet for everyone in an evening concert where all the kids and mothers are involved and try to play. Even without a leg you can stand still, play and have fun and if you don't let yourself stop you can even win the ping pong Olympics between Germany, Kyrgyzstan and Italy. Little ones can really do great things.
