Finally open day

On the morning of Saturday 11 June we opened the doors of the Arsenale dell'Incontro to the families of our children and young people and to the friends who in the last two years, due to the pandemic, we had no longer been able to invite to the Arsenal.
We did it through an open day that filled our spaces with workshops in which children and young people shared their daily activities with guests: art, mosaic, educational games, professional training, costume jewelery, agriculture, sport, psychomotor skills, music , speech therapy ... an insight into our everyday life. We gave the people who arrived a map that marked the various places where the workshops were located, so that they could go around by themselves and stop where they wanted most.

In a short time, the Arsenale is back to fill up: families, children, friends, institutional representatives ... intrigued and amazed to see everything that children and young people do and above all their happiness in being able to share it. Many even got involved: they tried to make a piece of mosaic, to paint with watercolors, they played soccer with us, they helped us make some bracelets.

We finally met in person, enjoying the joy of experiencing first-hand that even in the difficult time of the pandemic, the life of the Arsenale continued to flow and that our large family remained united even in the distance and he was just waiting for the first opportunity to be able to see each other again, finally!
