We need simple people who, with their daily choices, are able to bring more justice, more dialogue, more acceptance, more charity into our humanity. We need entrepreneurs, doctors, politicians, teachers, traders, judges, workers of all roles who know how to listen to their conscience and understand that every action always has repercussions on others.

We will talk about it in this issue with Vito Alfieri Fontana, a former mine builder who, following his conscience, decided to stop production and become a deminer in the former Yugoslavia.

We will meet Nicolas Marzolino, a young man from Turin who, after losing his sight and his right hand in the explosion of a bomb during the Second World War, became a witness of peace for the National Association of Civilian Victims of War (ANVCG).

Finally, we will give voice to the children, young people and witnesses who met in the center of Turin and at the Arsenal of Peace last December 31st to say with great simplicity and determination: «No to any war! Yes to peace!».
