The heart of youth

We take many things for granted and even being a group, a fraternity is sometimes an opportunity that we do not exploit enough. A group of young people from the parish of Jesus Nazarene with whom we shared a few days made us understand this.

With them we learned that God's dream continues to speak to everyone we meet to the extent that we are willing to let ourselves be touched and to give our lives for it. A group of young people also shows us that good speaks, that if we put our little in God's hands, He always makes something beautiful and good out of it. There is always a disproportion between the little that I make available and the hundredfold that I receive, but together we can make people understand that we can make a difference wherever we are and that sharing what we are is always a wealth that multiplies resources making the impossible possible.

Young people give us the gift of opening their hearts more easily, unlike many adults. Their availability opens our eyes to many "worlds" that are the infinite manifestations of the Lord in our daily lives. It makes us say thank you first of all and increases the desire to know how to protect so much beauty. With them we have re-learned how educational and beautiful it is to "play while working", even for a 7-year-old child who helps at the top of a woodshed to pass wood to his father, in a human chain that then concretely contributes to keeping the house in which we live warm.
