Famous for the TV series in which she starred as Madison, she also totally rocks as a singer! I love the naturalness with which she maneuvers through a jazz ballad. A supple voice that caresses and seduces without being syrupy, moving up and down with total nonchalance. Of course, having Vinnie Colaiuta on drums and David Foster on piano for the performance helps. A song from over twenty years ago, it sounds like it was played and sung yesterday.

GABE LEE | DRINK THE RIVER
I don’t know who he is, but the music he expresses in this song knocks me out from the very first syllable. It strikes me in the heart, creating a feeling that aches, roars, and escapes, giving me immense joy. He goes straight down the endless slope of a ballad and slips in that kind of song that, with almost nothing, could even resurrect the terracotta army in the city of Xi'an.

DAVE KOZ & CORY WONG | GETAWAY CAR
Swing, rock, and funk mixed with art and mastery. This Cory Wong knows a thing or two about how to make a track interesting. Here, the groove dominates, as declared from the very start: a stellar drummer, a horn section with plenty of guts—precise and powerful—with a very unique "color." The "growl" effect of the baritone sax defines the performance and varies the timbres, not leaving the spotlight solely to Dave Koz’s tenor sax.
