On the road to dialogue

Talking to each other is essential to open a common path of peace
Dialogue saves. Faced with increasingly violent conflicts, declared or underground wars, polarized opinions incapable of finding mediation and compromises, we seek different paths and paths.
As the testimony of the Archbishop of Marseille, Jean-Marc Aveline, born in Algeria and now leader of one of the most important dioceses in the Mediterranean, a crossroads of meetings and relationships between different faiths, teaches us. But dialogue does not only distinguish the purely human dimension: the Dominicans Radcliffe and Popko (photo) remind us that the relationship between man and God has always been dialogical, made up of decisive questions of meaning.
Finally, Giulia Grimaldi, a young university student and Sermig volunteer, tells us about her singular experience: young people who for a few days become the world's greats and try to sit at a table to discuss the great problems of our time. Dialogue instead of weapons!

From the Arsenal to Rome, pedaling according to the spirit "Walk according to the spirit", St. Paul exhorts us. Paraphrasing, we could say that - if we "pedal" according to the spirit - we discover that even a bicycle can become the means to let ourselves be carried by God and bring God with us. We have been on a pilgrimage from Turin to Rome through the thousand faces that Providence has placed on our path.
It's difficult to talk about a pilgrimage because it has to be experienced! In God's company we met old and new friends and shared the joy of meeting with them. Nature, the road, the breath that becomes prayer, the company of a friend in front of the beauty of creation, Providence close by with its hands gripping a handlebar for almost 800 km. These are some ingredients that have allowed us to experience the "lightness" of God, pedaling for Peace, entrusting him with all the intentions of our Fraternity of Hope in the month dedicated to Mary of Jesus.
The road opens up by walking, or rather by pedaling!
