Do you have a pedal assisted bicycle, but want to go on foot? Now there are assisted shoes. The project is called Moonwalker, shoes that double the speed and allow you to walk up to 12 km/h. In practice, the walking speed is multiplied by 2 and a half times.

The shoes use artificial intelligence to measure your stride and react to how you walk, reaching maximum speed in seconds. The basic idea is that of airport treadmills that speed up the pace without changing the pace of walking. In this case, the "roller" action is replaced by 10 wheels per shoe that allow you to walk on any type of terrain. They look like sandals that can be attached to any type of shoe and have a hinge system that allows the foot to bend naturally at the height of the toes, preserving the natural gait, mobility and balance. For now the only problems are the weight and the quite important cost, who knows if they will catch on...
