A A A Attention!

Have you ever had a friend ask you for a favor via WhatsApp?
Well, if they ask you to send them a 6-digit code, they might not be your friend, but a nice scammer.
The scam works like this: you receive an SMS with a verification code and, immediately after, a message from the account of one of your contacts asking you for that code that they sent you “by mistake”.
You, as good friends, send it back to them… and poof!
Your account ends up in the hands of the scammer.
This code is actually the one used to verify your account on another device.
If you share it, scammers will be able to take control of your WhatsApp account, accessing your chats and sending messages to your contacts.
To protect yourself, it is essential to never share the verification code you receive and to activate two-step verification, available in the WhatsApp settings.
We often tend to trust our digital friends a little too much.
Trust is good but on mobile it is better to be careful.
