2ª dose di vaccino agli ospiti dell’Arsenale della Speranza

Publish date 23-04-2021

Each of the 65,000 people who have already been welcomed at the Arsenale della Speranza in San Paolo certainly has a memory of the time spent in this house.

But we are sure that if anything will remain etched in the memory of the current guests is the fact that they have been vaccinated against the coronavirus right here, in the spaces where, in past centuries, millions of European emigrants have received the first vaccines against the diseases that afflicted Brazil at that time.

On April 22, 2021, guests of the Brazilian Arsenal were vaccinated against covid-19: the vast majority - who had already received the first dose on March 30 - received the second, while the most recent guests received the first. dose.

On a gray rainy day, the historic arcades of the former Hospedaria de Imigrantes continued to perform their function, that of offering a good shelter to the many men waiting not only for their vaccination round, but above all for a better future.

This historic day is part of the collaboration with and between the Departments of Health and Social Assistance of the Municipality of São Paulo. Also in this case, as already happened on the first day of vaccination, the vaccine was applied at the Arsenale medical center by a team of health workers specialized in working with the "people of the street".

At the Arsenale della Speranza we will continue to do our part to welcome current guests and those who will come in the best possible way!
